Mr. Miracle

Anyone that knows me, could tell you I adore babies! I am always so excited about "baby shoots" but this one was very special to me....The mother of this PERFECT baby boy, was told after her 3rd miscarriage that she would NEVER be able to get pregnant, and if she did, she would have a baby with many issues, if it survived at all.....with that said, I would like to announce to you, Mr. Miracle! He was born a few weeks early, and the Dr's said he would be in the NICU for a few weeks, but after just a few days, he is HOME! I am certain God has big plans for this lil guy!

Besties.....

These girls kept me laughing the WHOLE time! I realized during this shoot how "old" I am getting...Listening to all their "inside jokes" and made up words that only they knew what it meant....seems like just yesterday that was me with my crew :0)

Had a blast with you girls! Thanks for making me feel like a teenager for at least an hour!

Wedding Bells....

So, I have learned that there is just something about a bride on her wedding day , that makes me very emotional....I told myself after the last wedding, "Self, it is unprofessional to cry while the bride is walking down the aisle to the man of her dreams".....but that conversation clearly went in one ear and out the other, because as this breathtaking bride was having her hair done, it happened!!! My chin started quivering and on came the tears! At least I tried! What a perfect wedding day!...other than the fact it was 103 degrees...wowzers!

Knoxville....my home away from home.....

When i woke up this morning and checked the weather, It said that Knoxville was going to set a record for being one of the hottest days EVER, and they were not lying!!! But when you are doing what you love the most, the fact that you have sweat rolling down into your eyes doesn't even matter..... My day started with a family that I met when I first started my photography journey, and i was so happy that they asked me again! Lil man is getting ready to be 6 months, so before you know it, you will see his 1 year pictures!.....Then, I got to meet two lil beautiful lil girls. You would think the oldest is a model, because I didn't even have to pose her! She knew what to do!...and the lil one with AMAZING eyes will be 1 next week, so we had a lil cupcake fun!!....Last but not least, 4 seniors!!! Lets just say there was a lot of laughs, jumping, and even a lil singing! So great to meet ALL of you!

Let's try this again.....

I had another shoot with this lil guy and we got soaked from the rain, so we met up again! Rain was not an issue, that's for sure! It was HOT!!!....wasn't exactly sure how great our time together was going to be at first, because he was not a fan of the camera...UNTIL, I let him push the button!! He thought that was great...So, he would push the button, laugh hysterically, and I would shoot away!...ended up with lots of pictures with his perfect lil smile :0)
